Jacob, an ex-chef of Gordon Ramsay was out of work when I did a project with him focusing on his craft. Having recently moved back to Madrid, he was mainly cooking at home, trying to start a social media page, with sporadic jobs at local restaurants.

When creating a portfolio for him, I let his personality control the direction of the project, focusing not only on his skills but also him as a person. Remaining true to documentary, I felt necessary to include part of his current struggles despite his expertise and excellent cooking.

Since this project, Jacob has now found work as a private chef, working on super yachts around the world.
